ABOUT
Leopards are renowned for their patience and good things come to those who wait. Now we have time on our hands to track down the lions and our early starts can always surprise that magnificent spotted cat, the elusive leopard. With four nights there is a great chance of hearing the lions near our camp at night. We also set up a static camera on site with photo and video to capture whatever nocturnal creature pays us a visit! The Honey Badger, or Honey Monster as we call her, Silver Fox, Spotted Genet and many more. We have three full days in the park, so lots of chill out time by day, a game of backgammon or scrabble and, of course, at least one glorious cold shower! We should knock up a great bird list too, especially in summer when specials like nomadic harriers and pratincole visit the Kalahari plains. Depending on your interest, allow us to fire your imaginations with hours contemplating our magnificent Kalahari night skies. Our personal choice on a break is four nights, we would never go for less. You will leave a convert and will yearn to return to this extraordinary place.

PRICING
CKGR is a remote destination yet we have managed to keep our daily rate on a par withmost offers to Moremi from Maun, a fraction of the distance. Crucially we also don’t fix dates and then fill a sixteen-seater open Cruiser with loads of people who don’t even know each other. All our safaris are private and exclusive. The costs per person also come down if there are more guests as some of our costs like transport are fixed. Of course, we are also open to your suggestions and can customise your trip, both to CKGR or anywhere else in Botswana and Namibia at a great daily rate. All our safaris include at least one San tracker. The experience of bringing one or two of our Sanfriends along really is unique, their capability in spotting game is legendary and they are wonderful people to have along. Lastly, we are based near Ghanzi in western Botswana where you will need to stay the first and last night unless you arrange a Maun pick-up. We recommend our base camp at the San owned game farm, Dqae Qare San Lodge.
